Application and Benefits

Application: For securing elastic seams; e.g. shoulder seams in womenswear, lingerie, swimwear, and sportswear, as well as for creative accents such as gathering, shirring, and ruffling. Resistant to chlorine. Suitable for all fabrics including transparent ones.

Processing Instructions

Please carry out application tests before processing the products!

Processing:

• Cut Framilastic shorter than the length to be sewn – depending on how much gathering is desired.
• At the start of your gathering, sew the tape flat for approx. 1 cm (using a zigzag stitch, and don’t forget to backstitch) so it has a secure hold. Then stretch the tape to the desired length and sew it down under tension. At the end, backstitch again.
• When working with Framilastic, always stitch through the centre of the transparent tape. This ensures it lies evenly and has an equally even hold.

Important: Do not use fabric softener when washing.
